The Zig Zag Building replaces a 1950s office block with exemplary new office space. Lewisham Southwark College
The project created a flagship building for the newly formed college, establishing a bold new façade and entrance whilst internally providing a range of formal and break-out spaces that reflect the college’s new vision for teaching and learning.
The horseshoe plan transformed an existing courtyard into a bright and flexible atrium space, while a suite of state of the art teaching and breakout spaces were created in a refurbished block and new build wings.

Comprehensive refurbishment, extension and restoration of a 1765 Grade II Listed property in Camden’s Bloomsbury Conservation Area, for a bespoke tailor’s shop with flats above.
The project consolidates, preserves and restores the listed fabric enhancing the building’s long-term conservation and reinforcing the street’s historic use-pattern of “living above the shop” by expanding the tailoring into the basement and adding a contemporary 2-storey rear extension; as well as creating two high-value new residential units in the upper floors.
