Experience
We enjoy working in all sectors and at all scales, offering the full range of architectural services on projects spanning one-off private homes and large-scale residential developments, commercial and mixed-use schemes, offices and workspaces, public realm and cultural buildings, schools and higher education institutions.
Design Engine always strives to exceed client expectations by delivering buildings which are both functional and graceful. We are thrilled that much of our work comes from repeat commissions; we are equally thrilled that many of our projects have garnered media coverage and been recognised with prestigious awards.
Our ‘signature’ is less evident to us than those who look in from the outside, and who often comment on it. We have always concerned ourselves less with a stylistic consistency in our output than the rigorous research, analysis and conceptual thought that underpins all our projects. This can only come through a thorough understanding of site, brief, client aspiration, budget and programme; generically speaking, the ‘context’. We are very good listeners.
