2016SDA provided a full architectural service on the design of this new Audi showroom in Hull for client, JCT600.
SDA provided a full architectural service on the design of this new Audi showroom in Hull for our client, JCT600. We have worked with the dealer group for over five years on a number of their dealerships across the North of England.
The new 2.5-acre site was bought by JCT600 after their previous showroom became too small for purpose. The new site on Saxon Way was an obvious choice, as it is already the location of a number of car dealerships representing various marques. It would also provide the capacity to build a state-of-the-art Audi Terminal building.
Adopting the unique Audi Terminal style, the showroom is defined by two sweeping curves running throughout. This has created a forecourt with enough space to display 12 new vehicles from the Audi range. There is a 16 bay workshop also included and enough external space to display 70 used cars.
Audi Hull has been awarded a BREEAM rating ‘Very Good’ thanks to its impressive green credentials. This includes a weather station that automatically operates the window blinds and an almost entirely solar panelled roof.
