A sense of drama is achieved for our clients' dream family home.
This property featured on the BBC's Building Dream Homes, June 2014.
The design for this house was developed for a couple who wished to create a new dream home for their family. The existing two storey house was replaced with a three storey house that sits into the sloped site.
It was a sense of drama that our clients wanted from their dream home: rbstudio delivered through the front entrance which reveals a three storey void space linking the house through all of the living spaces. The feature staircase and stone clad wall lead to first floor living accommodation.
Views of the tree lined site can be enjoyed from the living spaces with large glazing on all three sides. The top floor hosts sleeping accommodation; all floors enjoy external space on balconies lined beautifully with frameless glazed balustrades. What more drama can there be!
