Gruff was appointed to design the fit-out and shop-front for Brickfields, a cocktail bar in London. The client owned a successful family-friendly restaurant and was looking to expand and establish a new bar nearby with a more intimate and sophisticated feel and a late licence - a venue which, before Brickfields, didn’t really exist in the area. IKAWA headquarters involves refurbishing two existing warehouse floors into a quiet workspace and manufacturing workshop space for the on site design and production of IKAWA’s digital sample coffee roaster.
The project brief involves designing a mix of cellular quiet offices and meeting rooms, a research laboratory, an open plan flexible use workshop & manufacturing space with flexible electrical services strategy and a cafe demonstration space.
New headquarters for international furniture maker Brunner, converting a historic warehouse on Rosebery Ave. in Clerkenwell into a light spacious gallery showroom and offices, in the heart of London’s design quarter.
