Abbots Way, by AR Design Studio, is a stunning five bedroom house. Bordered by mature trees and a small lake, this spectacular house creates feelings of ultimate relaxation and privacy, whilst its contemporary design juxtaposes superbly with its beautifully rural location.
Seafield is a new building in a strikingly beautiful location on the Isle of Man’s craggy coastline. The small building contains guest accommodation ancillary to the main house on a country estate, on which Gort Scott has carried out three separate projects.
At the time of purchased, Steve & Karen’s new home didn’t work well. The ground floor was all but cut off from the rest of house, the spaces badly flowed and the garden was hard to access. We were asked to open the house up, modernise it, improve the relationship between the house and the garden and to create a family living zone over the bottom two floors that brought the family together even when they were in different rooms or on different floors.
A new five bedroomed courtyard estate house with cottage and steading annexe that commands majestic views south over unspoilt countryside. This new split level house integrates the old farm out-buildings with expansive new living area and upstairs bedroom suites and balconies. The design recalls the original imposing hillside home which it replaces.
