The temporary refurbishment and improvement of a single-storey prefabricated building on Lower Marsh, London, to create a new mixed-use creative enterprise hub for Meanwhile Space CIC. The project includes a co-working space, an office for The Job Shop, and a retail unit.
An exemplary example of high quality design within a rural setting, Fallahogey Studio nestles sunken within the agrarian landscape of Northern Ireland, providing an architectural studio for the practice McGarry-Moon Architects. Designed to compliment the rural surroundings, the building is informed by shapes and materials prevalent within the locale. In 2015 the practice was commissioned to oversee a complete restoration of the internal and external fabric of the University of Winchester?s Victorian Chapel to be one of the most visible expressions of the celebrations to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the educational establishment. PiP were commissioned by Jesus College to design a new potting shed to replace one currently located some distance from the colleges glasshouses. This would serve the gardeners and improve the planting process and productivity within the College.
Due to the sensitive nature of the Fellows Gardens, a more sculptural approach was adopted when designing the structure.
