The Embassy of the Climate Refugee - Wellcome Collection Pavilion Competition

We propose a multidisciplinary project across architecture, art, science, social policies and welfare that aims to show in an innovative artistic context the consequences of the climate change affecting humans and their health (drought, desertification, fires, heat waves, topicalizations, floods) and creating new migration phenomena around the world.

We have submitted to planning an application for the refurbishment and extension of an existing commercial Victorian building in Peckham South London. The application proposes the provision of a mixed-use scheme of B1 Business units and C3 Residential units.
The project created a flagship building for the newly formed college, establishing a bold new façade and entrance whilst internally providing a range of formal and break-out spaces that reflect the college’s new vision for teaching and learning.
The horseshoe plan transformed an existing courtyard into a bright and flexible atrium space, while a suite of state of the art teaching and breakout spaces were created in a refurbished block and new build wings.
