A private garden designed for residents of newly converted flats in Ealing. The scheme comprised a large bespoke seating area for entertaining, the introduction of semi-mature trees, a lap pool as well as areas of low maintenance planting.
Peckham Levels offers much needed creative workspace, designed to inspire and support a new community of artists, makers and entrepreneurs, as well as providing benefits to the wider community. All tenants are creatives and independent businesses, mostly drawn from the local area, and selected on their commitment to contributing positively to the community through participation in a structured programme of outreach projects.
At the time of purchased, Steve & Karen’s new home didn’t work well. The ground floor was all but cut off from the rest of house, the spaces badly flowed and the garden was hard to access. We were asked to open the house up, modernise it, improve the relationship between the house and the garden and to create a family living zone over the bottom two floors that brought the family together even when they were in different rooms or on different floors.

This scheme for 14 high quality private and affordable homes is under construction on land previously used for agriculture. It forms a small extension to the attractive village of Hunsdon in Hertfordshire. The project is due to be completed by Thomas Sinden Developments in spring 2019.
