2015We were appointed to design and project manage this luxurious penthouse in Highgate. Set within a secluded canopy of trees this zinc clad roof extension with glazed balustrades around an incredible roof terrace will provide incredible views across London.
The success of Kempton House depended on two things – working carefully within the Grade II listed building and achieving an outstanding interior design. We have extensive experience of working with listed buildings, and sensitivley incorporating modern designs into the project.
During the construction process we had to create a secondary roof structure that spanned from the structural walls below. Our award winning roofing specialist carefully installed the new roof structure and composite panels to the tightest of tolerances.
Internally, under floor heating was installed between the two roof structures and a new timber floor installed above. The large roof light was installed that allows light to flood the double height space transforming the existing entrance and lifting experience within the existing lower bedrooms.
