Temper is a open Barbeque restaurant in Soho. The restaurant is centered around two ideas: A celebration of the preparation of south-American inspired food prepared over flame and a continuation of the Soho late night tradition of atmospheric subterranean spaces. The two restaurant levels have different atmospheres, The smaller ground floor provides a shop window to see flour being milled and pressed into tacos by day and
customers enjoying drinks by night, the basement is a large dark, theatrical space cooked. Details and materials make reference to manufacturing and rural spaces and include engineering brick dark timber,
concrete and terrazzo.
