2015A family run food shop in Brockley, South East London
Jones of Brockley is ‘a family run food shop in SE4’ opposite Crofton Park Station. The brief was to transform the shop front and run down interior a usable welcome space for the local community to buy ‘delicious and well made products including bread, cheese, vegetables, refrigerated and dry goods, wine, beer and more.’
GTA reused much of the existing building fabric and with clever use of simple materials and design the space was transformed into a warm and welcoming shop that is loved by the local community.
The shop external signage and shop front is simple and the introduction of the display window shelves invites commuters and passers-by in.
Graphic Identity for the shop was carried out by 'work-form.’
