A contemporary, quirky 2bed mews house making the most of the site and planning constraints.
Paolo Ferla
DHV Architects in Bristol have designed a two bedroom mews house on a constrained garage site measuring just 7x11m. The design is contextual in scale with contemporary management of space and materials. To respond to the planners' requirement for a small-scale development, the building is articulated into two volumes with separate gabled roofs. The site constraints are overcome to deliver an efficient and sustainable building, with minimal impact on the neighbouring properties.
