ZCD Architects was formed in 2013 by Zoe Smith, Cordula Weisser and Dinah Bornat.
Current projects include a new-build 5 storey residential block, a new-build mixed use development, a new-build house in East London and a feasibility report for the expansion of an existing Art Gallery.
Zoe Smith was a co-founding director of Block Architecture (1998-2010), and more recently set up ZS Architects. Cordula Weisser started as a principal member of FAT and subsequently was a co-founding director of Working Architecture Group (2001-2013). Dinah Bornat was a member of Edward Cullinan Architects until 2004, when she left to set up her own practice, Bornat Architects.
ZCD Architects collectively bring a broad range of experience in different sectors including Arts, Commercial, Residential and Exhibition design.

Penwortham Primary School
The project involved the extension of the lower ground floor of a Victorian terraced house on Farleigh Road. The clients wanted to expand the lower ground floor level to create a more sociable space centred around the kitchen (one of them used to be a chef so much of life centres around cooking and entertaining).
