Ash Grove Student Accommodation
The brief was to design a purpose-built student accommodation building in the west of Guildford, Surrey. The site sits at the end of the Ash Grove cul-de-sac and is bounded
to the west by the A3 (Guildford and Godalming Bypass and footpath), to the north-east by the Guildford Business Park complex and to the south and south-east by SouthWest Trains rail line and the University of Surrey’s main Campus.
The proposed development is for a part 1, 2, 3 & 4 storey building that has evolved from detailed analysis of the surrounding...
Tachbrook Street, Pimlico
Set within the Pimlico conservation area, this conversion of a 5-storey Victorian townhouse involves the creation of 4-bedrooms (3 en-suite), a reception room with adjoining dining room and kitchen at ground floor, an office at first and a guest bedroom, bathroom and a large family living room at lower ground.
Through a continuous design and development process, packages completed for the refurbishment include the setting out and detailing of all rooms, kitchen design, sanitary-ware provision, bespoke joinery and the coordination of all fixtures and fittings within the house. Work is has...
The Big Bothy, Isle of Skye
The Big Bothy is the nickname given to our design for the 400sqm hub building, forming a central part of a wider boutique hotel development on the outskirts of the town of Portree, Isle of Skye.
The term ‘Bothy’ is a traditional Scottish word, historically used to describe the small cottages found dotted across the rocky landscapes of the Highlands which served as both stores for farm labourers and short-term refuges for travellers seeking respite from the harsh winter climate of Northern Scotland.
The project hopes to be a timely...
Montague Road, Crouch End
The project is an extension (side return) that will incorporate a new kitchen, dining space and snug space. The reconfigured rear will also include a new ground floor bathroom. The services we will be providing include concept design, the preparation and submission of a planning application, building regulation drawings, a tender package with outline specifications, contract administration and on-site duties during the construction stage.
Glengall Road, Peckham
We have submitted to planning an application for the refurbishment and extension of an existing commercial Victorian building in Peckham South London. The application proposes the provision of a mixed-use scheme of B1 Business units and C3 Residential units.
Mackeson Road, Hampstead
The project is a single-storey side extension to a ground floor property in a 1950s ex-council apartment building. The project is situated in Hampstead's Mansfield conservation area.
The property, 29 Mackeson Road, is a mid-century 1950s terrace hemmed in by late 19th century Victorian terraces on the west side of the street. The block is a post war infill, typical of the area and is unique to the street in that it is the only set of houses that are not Victorian in age or character. The building in question is...
Thessaly Railway Bridge
Following our Stage 2 short-listing, and in response to London Festival of Architecture's call for improvements to the Thessaly Railway Bridge underpass in Wandsworth, we proposed the tallest periscope in London at the Ascalon St. entrance of the underpass, balanced by a Camera Obscura/Kaleidoscope at the St. George’s School entrance. These powerful markers were to be combined with tiled friezes by fine artist, Mary Evans, within the underpass and complimented by enhanced lighting, elegant decorative tile accents and a sequence of directional floor markers between Ascalon St. and Corunna St.

Randolph Avenue, Maida vale
We are working on the conversion of a lower ground and ground floor flat into a single 2-storey family home in Maida Vale
Sparkford Road Student Accommodation
An 88-bedroom student housing scheme in Winchester, Hampshire. The site lies south of the city centre and is bounded to its west by the University of Winchester’s main campus. Recently granted planning, we worked closely with local authorities and the wider design team to put forward a project that sensitively negotiates its part suburban, part urban setting.
