Eden Street Backway

PiP's Eden Street Backway development for Jesus College, Cambridge, Illustrates our commitment to excellence in architecture through our application of innovative, high quality design and flexible working practices.

Our proposal was to demolish twelve lock-up garages and outbuildings fronting Portland Place and Eden Street Backway and to erect five two-bedroomed dwellings with off street parking and three one-bedroomed dwellings, including landscaping and access.

L2, Orchard Park

L2 is situated north of Cambridge City Centre adjacent to the Cambridge Science Park, PiP have gained detailed planning permission for 63 studio apartments together with an on-site gymnasium, underground carpark and 2 retail/commercial units.

PiP's proposal was to demolish a 1950’s detached dwelling which had fallen in to disrepair and was of poor and inefficient construction to enable the erection of four five-bed-roomed dwellings with off street parking, including landscaping and access.

The Pool House

PiP were commissioned to submit proposals to the local authority for the erection of a new superstructure above an existing swimming pool substructure. The existing shell, plant and services were to be removed to make way for the development. The application was approved under delegated powers by the local authority, receiving praise from planning officers for its innovative and well-conceived design.
