Carolyn Trevor BSc(hons) AAdipl ARB RIBA BIID SBID
Born in 1959, Carolyn studied Architecture at the Bartlett, University College London where she was awarded a first class degree and the Architectural Association, London. Before establishing TLA Studio in 1995 she worked for Wickham and Baumgarten, Rick Mather and John Stefanidis. Whilst with Julyan Wickham and Michael Baumgarten, Carolyn worked on many restaurants and bars as well as the redevelopment of much of the area of London, around Tower Bridge and Butlers Wharf. During her time at Rick Mather, Carolyn worked on more restaurants alongside office refurbishments and bespoke residential houses. When Carolyn was working at John Stefanidis she designed and was involved with many prestige projects including the refurbishment of Eaton Hall for the Duke and Duchess of Westminster, a London home for the Gettys, houses in New York, London and Ohio for Lesley Wexner, shops for Ralph Lauren, luxury hotels in Portugal Germany and London as well as a resort in Florida for Galen Weston and holiday homes in the West Indies.
Carolyn is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, The British Institute of Interior Design and The Society of British Interior Design. She is on the judging panel of the What House? Awards as well as the admissions interview panel for the BIID.

Patrick Lahiff
Born in 1962, Patrick studied Architecture at Queensland University. Before joining TLA Studio in 1995 he worked at Robert Riddel Architects as their studio manager running most of the jobs on site. Patrick also worked at Rex Addison Associates and Allom Lovell Marcus Kyle in Brisbane, Australia. Patrick moved to London in 1988 to work at John Stefanidis where he was made a Director in 1992 in charge of 80 staff. Clients and projects where he was directly involved include the Duke of Hanover, Countess Gaitani, the Qatari Ambassadors house in Holland Park, a country house for James Fairfax, 2 houses for Lesley Wexner (owner of Victoria’s Secret and Abercrombie and Fitch). Other notable commercial projects carried out by the office included the Hotel Rose Wiesbaden and Villa Vita in Portugal. As director, Patrick takes a leading role in many of our projects and has project managed numerous projects up to £20million in value.
