Tandem house extension shows off the benefits of neighbourly design.
A refurbishment of a Grade 2 listed Georgian house.
The brief was to create a light, spacious home for a growing family, with a side return extension that provided sufficient width for an island unit and dining table, allowing the kitchen to function as a social space.
This refurbishment and extension of a detached Victorian villa in Dartmouth Park, north London, creates an improved connection to the garden.
The project reconfigures a first floor flat within a building that was converted from a house in the 1970’s. The flat was altered to provide an open plan kitchen in the living room, allowing the creation of an additional bedroom.
