Location: Shoreditch, London
Project Year: 2014
Cost: 100k - 500kThis project involved the conversion of a Warehouse within the Fournier Street Conservation Area to create a beautiful family home. The proposal included the removal of a modern shed and reinstatement of a courtyard at the rear of the property to bring natural light into the bedroom and en-suite. To bring light deeper into the living space the work also involved the replacement of the existing aging roof-light with a fritted walk-on roof-light fitted flush with adjacent new decking finishes. New timber privacy screens have been introduced to shield views and noise to neighbouring properties where the enjoyment of the garden is experienced internally with the introduction of double glazed steel framed doors at ground floor level and double pivot door to terrace.
